After starting a blog for a Daylily club, I thought I would start one on my own gardening adventures. I have lived here since fall of 1997, but am concentrating on what I have growing in 2015 and onward. Shown here are some Camellias. These bloom during the late fall through the winter [although freezes may stop them for awhile] into the early spring.
One type of white Camellia.
This is a different variety of white Camellia.
This is a large pink Camellia.
This is a bloom of the large pink Camellia from a different angle.
Above and below are looks at the Camellia 'Professor Sargent.'
This is a real good tough plant for this area and will grow as a small tree.
